By Jason Szep ENGLEWOOD, Col., Oct 4 - Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin accused Democratic candidate Barack Obama on Saturday of ''palling around with terrorists,'' in the latest sign the campaign is turning increasingly nasty. The...
Senator John McCain represent that sect of America that is RACIST. And there are some who will support Mcain even if he led them into to povery's doorway before they would support a Barack Obama. Why do you think Donald Trump and all other rich wealthy white Americans support McCain......he's for the wealthy, and not for the middle class. It shows in how some of these people are responding and anyone with good commen sense and good judgment could see that Obama did better than McCain even on McCain's so called turf. No one wants to say it but his body language and the fact that he didn't even look or acknowledge Senator Barack Obama reminds me of the old slave masters, and the white America of the Jim Crow days. Remember, it was McCain who voted against the Martin Luther King holiday, twice and don't forget that he is against Affirmative Action which is not just a race thing but a minority thing to include women. Even at the end, McCain and his wife did not even show courtesy, it was Barack and Michelle that approached them to shake their hands.
Also, if this country doesn't select Obama as the next President, it would look worse than it does today in the eyes of the World, Because the world is watching and they are for Obama and if we don't put him in the White House I believe the World will look at this country as the worst country there is, because it would show it's true colors. RACIST That is, that there is a sect in the United States of White Americans who still can't get over "race". If Barack Obamas skin color was white, the polls would show him leading by a wide margin.
South East Dad......and all others ........THIS IS THE TRUTH!
How many minorities do you see at any of McCain's rallies. How many did you see at the Republican Convention. And no matter what you want to do to cover it up,.....you can't because when racism is in you it shows up as it did in McCain last night.
The Republican Party is not for the middle class. Remember how they all laughed when Palin and Guilliano made mockery of the Community Worker....who by the way is one who helps the poor and the middle class.....The Republican Party laughed at the efforts of the Community Organizer.
If I was a cartoonist, I would draw a person along side the road, broke down and in dyer need of help and Barack Obama helping him and the Republican Party standing on the other side of the road laughing with McCain and Palin in front.
If McCain can't look a fellow american in the eye just because he differs in view and opinion what is he going to do with foriegn leaders? Will he be this disrespectful with everyone who does not agree with him? What a shame some of you want this man as the leader of this country
First of all, don't lie,
"On July 18, 2008 Gramm stepped down from his position with the McCain campaign." look at Phil Gramm wikipedia.org
The "Crisis on Wall Street", financial institutions meeting hard times, began with democratic pressure to lower lending standards. President Bush addressed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac needing oversight back in 2002(look it up). The democratic controlled congress wanted everyone to get housing loans, and so it was. The real estate "bubble" filled with interest only loans, ARMs and people who couldn't afford the loans.(Remember Greenspan warning about this). Guess what, the terms of these short sighted loans came to fruition and couldn't be addressed. Now the lender are left holding the bag of lowered standard "bad" loans they were forced into taking. This is where we are and that was the cause. Look back into the beloved Clinton days, he sure had a hand in it as well. If you are serious about our country and economy, please research and dispute what I presented. No doubt Obama is more charismatic, however charisma has never paid a bill in my house or kept my family safe.
I find it interesting that you call Senator John McCain arrogant when Senator Obama was smirking and rolling his eyes while McCain was speaking. That to me speaks volumes on maturity and the way he will conduct himself when talking with other leaders who may disagree with him. I'll personally take a little arrogance, especially when the person speaking knows what he is talking about.
I agree with you Midwestmom!
I herd little concern over what McCain intends to do for the American people who are hurting right now! I know I will barf, if I have to keep watching his irascible personality. It frightens me thinking about having this candidate in the White house. He has faulty judgment and continues to talk about war. Then has the nerve to exploit the pain of mother who lost her son.
No John McCain, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. It's clear we have a ruined economy while we foot the bill for the war in Iraq. No John McCain, you intend to keep are troops in Iraq for 100 years spending 10 billion a month Then He really does not understand Mainstream America. Too bad we have to see 2 more of these displays of an unstable man !!!
I think your confusing arrogance with real experience. Obama can't be confident because he is a junior senator.
